Background

MD Alloys is a UK based company specialising in the manufacture of cobalt, chrome, nickel and tungsten alloys for dentistry and orthopaedics. We hold current ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certification. We are also registered with the Medical Devices Directive and hold CE marks for our dental alloys.

For over 20 years we have been producing alloys by continuous casting. In 2006 our production base was extended to include ESR furnaces for large ingot production. In 2010 we started production of alloy powders.

As well as a manufacturing base, we also offer consultancy and research services. If you have a unique cobalt or nickel alloy composition in mind, we can probably make it for you.

Our metallurgists have been engaged with the oil and gas, aerospace and medical sectors for many years and have a profound knowledge of the delicate requirements for these industries.
